The Daytona Beach International airport was shut down Wednesday by a bomb threat which the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said originally appeared to come from Switzerland.

Bike Week kicks off this weekend in Daytona Beach and it will look a little different from years past. Vendors who were forced out of Biketoberfest last year are back. The city has granted permits for outside entertainment as long as businesses include it in the master plan and limit capacity.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the airport received a bomb threat and a threat to shoot up the airport around 9:18 a.m.
