Accused driver in deadly hit-and-run to stay in jail
The semi-truck driver who troopers say hit and killed two men on the side of the Interstate 95 in Palm Bay will stay in jail until his trial. This morning, a judge denied bond for 36-year-old Hassan Abdirahman Sheikh Ali. Officials arrested the man in Palm Beach County hours after the crash. Ali was in court twice this morning, because a judge said he was uncooperative when he claimed he didn't understand any English in his first court room visit.

A deadly hit-and-run crash shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Palm Bay on Friday morning. Officials said two surveyors were killed in the crash. Troopers have now located and arrested the semi-truck driver who they said fled the scene of the crash. Hassan Abdirahman Sheikh Ali, 36, is facing two counts of hit-and-run involving death.
