Bob Hallett, the president and CEO of Skydive Deland, was killed in a crash on Tuesday in DeLand, Florida. His death was felt around the skydiving community. FOX 35's Hannah McKenzie talked to someone who knew Hallett about him.

1 dead, 1 hurt in overnight DeLand shooting

Police say one person was killed and another was injured following an early morning shooting at McCabe’s Bar in DeLand. The person killed has been identified as 32-year-old Keshod Harris. Officials said the suspect in the shooting fled the scene and has not yet been located. Authorities believe about 30 to 40 other people were in the bar at the time. Police presence and resources have been increased in the area to ensure the safety of the community.
