Could a pro soccer team be coming to Winter Garden?

The United Soccer League and Central Florida Pro Soccer announced last week plans to bring a men's soccer team to Winter Garden. This comes after the ownership group "Central Florida Pro Soccer" received a letter of intent from the City of Winter Garden for a 72-acre site in East Winter Garden. If the city approves it, the complex would have a 5,000-seat stadium, hotel space, baseball fields and pickleball courts. Florida man sentenced for hacking Disney's menus

A former Disney employee who pled guilty to hacking into the park's menu system is now heading to prison. Winter Garden resident Michael Scheuer, 40, will serve three years in federal prison, as well as forfeit his computers and pay $687,776.50 in restitution to the victims of his crimes.

Winter Garden votes to limit late-night alcohol sales

Following the City of Orlando, Winter Garden's City Commission has voted to limit when bars and restaurants can sell alcohol. Under the new rule, bars and restaurants will have to apply for a special permit to serve alcohol after midnight.
