Tovia House-Caldwell and her family were moving into their home in Palm Coast. Moments later, the house caught fire, while their dog was stuck in a bedroom. Their home was destroyed. Three people were shot inside a vehicle. Two males survived. Ka'Ryah Duncan died. Butler was booked into jail on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and possession of a fire by a delinquent.
