The Space Coast resident sits front and center at every Orlando Pride home game where she creates posters related to the team. “If you commit to one poster per game, I think that's pretty big,” Rachel says. “Like it's a undertaking.” Rachel, 40, sits in the lower bowl, section 15, next to her mother. As soon as she sits down, Rachel is locked in, armed with art materials. “The players noticed because I'm right front of the procession. They started winning and then I realized like I can't not do this. I have to do it as part of like a superstition now.” Rachel’s superstition has now turned into approximately 50 posters. She hasn’t begun to sell them yet, but she turns her creations into magnets and stickers for fans who want a little piece of Pride. Rachel’s schedule revolves around the Orlando Pride schedule. When they’re at Inter & Co Stadium, so is Rachel…and she wouldn’t want it any other way. “Every week I'm like, am I still doing this? Am I really going to wake up and do that tomorrow? I get to wake up and do work that is also what I would do if I were at home. So I think I am pretty lucky.

Olympia Outten was one of 11 people aboard a plane that crashed off the coast of Florida on Tuesday, March 12.  The plane departed Marsh Harbour Airport and was headed toward Grand Bahama International Airport. She said at some point the pilots aboard the flight got lost and a decision was made to land the plane in the ocean.  "I thought we was dead," she told reporters on Thursday because all she saw was water. She said they waited for hours in a life raft.  When rescuers found them, she said she jumped for joy. "Yes, we got saved!" she said.

Orange City Police said two masked suspects attempted to rob the Value Pawn & Jewelry on Wednesday, May 14. The suspects allegedly broke a display case and then sprayed three employees with bear mace when confronted, police said. Two customers inside the store told police that they were also impacted by the mace spray. Police said the two suspected were at large. No descriptions or surveillance images were released.
