A 15-year-old student at Gardendale Separate Day School is accused of kicking a teacher and a Brevard County School Resource deputy, according to Sheriff Wayne Ivey. FOX 35 is not naming the boy or showing his face due to his age. Sheriff Ivey said the boy also tried to take the deputy's gun as he was being taken into custody.

Florida pup stuck in bedroom during house fire, rescued

It could have been tragic, but thanks to the Flagler County Fire Rescue department, Kira, a Great Dane, is on the road to recovery. Tovia House-Caldwell and her family were moving into their home in Palm Coast. Moments later, the house caught fire, while their dog was stuck in a bedroom. Their home was destroyed. Second arrest in ambush shooting of 15-year-old: Officials

A 20-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to the ambush shooting death of a 15-year-old girl in October. The shooting happened outside a restaurant in Cocoa. Three people were shot inside a vehicle. Two males survived. Ka'Ryah Duncan died. Xazavier Butler was recently arrested on charged connected to the shooting, the second person to be arrested in the case, Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced Thursday night. Butler was booked into jail on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and possession of a fire by a delinquent.

Small plane lands miles away from Space Coast Airport

A small plane landed on FL-407, Thursday, after reports say the plane lost engine power. The plane landed around 3 miles southwest of the Space Coast Regional Airport. The FAA is investigating this incident.
