Central Florida will be heating up on Friday. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s. FOX 35 Storm Team meteorologist Brooks Garner takes a look at the forecast and when we could see storms again.

The break from the rain continues for Central Florida. Most areas aren't expected to see the typical afternoon and evening downpours today. Temperatures will reach the mid-90s, with the "feels like" temperatures in the 100s. FOX 35 Storm Team meteorologist Jessica Dobson takes a look at the forecast.

It's going to be a drier day for Central Florida, with lower storm and rain chances. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Bertha poses no direct impact to our area. FOX 35 Storm Team meteorologist Jessica Dobson takes a look at the forecast.

The workweek begins with scattered downpours in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the low 90s, making for a hot and humid day. FOX 35 Storm Team meteorologist Jessica Dobson takes a look at the forecast. 

As this area of low pressure continues to develop in the Gulf, we'll be on the outer periphery of the heavier tropical moisture. That doesn't mean we can't get some tropical rain though, as more moisture streams into the state. This system with the help of the upper-level flow will start to shift to the NW, taking the heavier rain along with it. Hit or miss tropical downpours and storms are still on the table, mainly this afternoon into the evening. Monday looks similar. We'll start the day off dry but we'll see outer rain bands circulating storms and downpours through Central Florida during the afternoon into the evening.
