Woman says packages stolen from front porch
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Desirae Munoz can’t believe someone was so bold they stole from her front door in broad daylight Saturday.
She told FOX 35, "It was 4:58, they were in and out. We got home 17 minutes later."
Munoz got a message that a package had been delivered and when she realized it wasn’t there, she checked her surveillance video.
Watch as a guy in a red car pulls up, grabs 3 boxes from the front door and takes off. The family thinks he drives away in a red Volkswagen. And he had his head covered.
She said, "We believe it’s a gentleman just by the way they were dressed. And baggy pants and we do believe there was either a towel or hoodie over their face so, it looked like, it looked like they knew there was a camera."
In addition to a box full of birthday gifts for her 3-year-old daughter, other items were taken that had been delivered the same day.
She said, "In the amazon box there was an air humidifier for my child ‘s bedroom and in the Walmart box there were four fabric storage bins."
Munoz now has a note on her front door asking delivery drivers to get a signature before any packages are dropped off.
