Momma bear, baby bear spotted in tree outside two Orlando schools

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Two bears were spotted up in a tree outside schools in Orlando on Tuesday.

The bears were seen next to Orlando Science High School and an elementary school, forcing teachers to cancel P.E. classes and other outside activities.

School administrators blocked off the area, causing traffic to back up as the schools were being dismissed.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials are monitoring the bears. They believe the animals will come down on their own, so they plan on sticking around so the bears don't walk into traffic on John Young Parkway.
