Go back in time with our old Toyota cars
The Toyota Motor Company has been around for more than 75 years and it has had a lot of cars in its lineup since them. Two of the Orlando Toyota cars that were once in the lineup are the Toyota Tercel and Toyota Solara.
- The Toyota Tercel was around for a very long time! It joined the Toyota lineup in 1978 and left in 2000. It was first introduced as an offspring of the Orlando Toyota Corolla and was named the Toyota Corolla Tercel! However it dropped "Corolla" from its name in 1982. It was available as a three- and five-door liftback, as well as a four-door station wagon model. At the time, this new Toyota was the most affordable option in the Toyota lineup. However, after the fifth generation, the Toyota Tercel was replaced by other Toyota cars.
- The Toyota Solara was a part of the Toyota lineup from 1998 until 2009. The Toyota Solara was first introduced as a part of the Toyota Camry and was named the Toyota Camry Solara. It was a sportier coupe version of this best-selling Toyota. Just a few years later, it was available as a convertible, which is what most drivers remember about this Orlando Toyota today!
Toyota of Orlando looks back at the Toyota Echo!
Another one of our past Orlando Toyota cars is the Toyota Echo!
- One memorable past Toyota is the Toyota Echo! This Toyota was a part of the lineup for only five years, but it made sure made a lasting impression! The Toyota Echo was introduced to the market in 2000 and was around until 2005, which means it was available not too long ago! This new Toyota stood out from the rest of the cars on the market because of its unique design. It was narrow with a higher roofline, which made for a spacious interior. It was also available as a four-door sedan and a two-door coupe. Although it was an economical option with a low price and great fuel economy, sales dropped and the Toyota Echo retired in 2005.
