Judge denies bond for Lake Mary murder suspect

New details are surfacing about the man accused of killing a woman in Lake Mary dry cleaners. Prior to moving to Central Florida, Andre Ernesto Luciano worked at the District Attorney's Office in the Bronx in New York City and also served in the United States Coast Guard. Luciano is accused of murdering of Nu "Jenny" Dang at a Lake Mary dry cleaning business on Tuesday afternoon.  Police said he also stole the 60-year-old victim's car.

Luciano, 26, was later caught in Kissimmee and brought back to Seminole County where he appeared before a judge on Friday on charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and robbery with a firearm.  His attorney said there are a lot of questions to be answered, because he does not have a prior record or criminal history.

"I mean, just doesn't make any sense. It's hard to imagine that somebody with no prior record, seven years with the Coast Guard, commits a murder on a random victim," said attorney Jeff Dowdy

Luciano is being held without bond and said to be on suicide watch.  His next court date was set for Oct. 27.
