Increase police presence at Lake Minneola High School after rumor of threat
MINNEOLA, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - There is extra police present at Lake Minneola High School on this Friday, confirms a Lake County official.
The official says that there was a rumor of a school treat circulating around. Police reportedly investigated and after speaking to several students, they determined that there was not enough evidence to prove the threat to be viable.
Nonetheless, the official confirmed that there will be an increased presence at the school on Friday.
