Bethune-Cookman University students rally to protect their school

Students on Wednesday rallied at Bethune Cookman University to protect the future of their school.

The Board of Trustees will meet on Thursday amid serious financial problems. These issues have become so bad that some people are worried that the University will shut down.

Over the summer, the school was put on a one-year accreditation probation for six violations, including a lack of integrity and financial control.

Students say they are standing by the current interim president and they think he should remain in office until the accreditation issues are resolved.
