She’s caring and gives more than 100% of her time and attention even though she has a husband and three kids of her own.

Mr. Azari teaches Algebra 2 Honors at PSI High, and he often prepares lessons that teach students in a way they will understand. Instead of basic instruction, he recently taught the lesson of probability through video games, in a way students will remember. Congratulations on being selected as Teacher of the Week!

Mrs. Baxter, a teacher at Flagler Palm Coast High School, has been a teacher for almost 30 years & her love for education doesn’t stop at the classroom. She spends endless hours helping kids outside of class, and she has fought for so many students when they were on the verge of giving up. Mrs. Baxter is the teacher the world needs more of! Miss G, as her students at Eustis Elementary School call her, always goes the extra mile, not just by making learning fun but also to support her students emotionally. She is always checking in with them, she supports them, and she even keeps a closet with extra shoes, jackets, and clothing for those who need them. Leah Volpe is a 5th grade teacher at Moss Park Elementary School. She teaches reading and writing, runs a book club and is helping with the spring production. Ms. Thompson is a teacher at Bunnell Elementary School and has been teaching for over 30 years, serving with passion for the last 20 years in Florida. She shows genuine love and compassion to all her students and she spends many hours at home and on the weekends trying to help all of her students. ESE teachers are often overlooked-they teach special needs students, and Jill has worked her entire career in Special Ed. She now places 18-22 yo students in jobs, and in her first year she had 100% of her students attain paying jobs! Congratulations on being selected as Teacher of the Week!

Jaclyn is a Biology teacher at Timber Creek High School who works hard to motivate each student to do their best. She is also the Head Coach for the cheerleading program and works tirelessly leading a very successful program of approximately 60 student athletes. Bridgette Ward is an amazing lady who works hard every single day to inspire her 1st graders to learn to read. She creates a fun atmosphere for these young children to learn their skills. She teaches through singing songs, clapping hands and lots of positive reinforcement. The children love her and enjoy coming to class. Her students make huge gains in reading and math skills.
