Tracking Coronavirus: Florida cases over 12,300; death toll jumps to 221

Below is a log of the day's events as it relates to the global coronavirus pandemic. 

10:30 a.m.-- The Florida Department of Health says that there are now 12,151 cases of coronavirus statewide and the death toll has jumped to 218. Read more HERE.

7 p.m. -- The Florida Department of Health said the number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 has risen to 12,350 in the state. The number of positive Florida residents has risen to 11,961.
