Some 'Come Out With Pride' events canceled due to Matthew

This weekend is a huge one for the LGBT community as Orlando celebrates Come Out With Pride, but Hurricane Matthew is putting a damper on some of the festivities.

The Official Pride Launch Party at the Abbey and the Church Street Block Party have both been canceled, according to the event website.

At this time, the schedule for Saturday's events is still on and organizers are actively monitoring the path of Matthew in order to make a determination regarding any additional postponements or cancelations.

On the Come Out With Pride website, organizers said they expect to make a call Thursday morning following updated forecasts and discussions with local officials.

Updates to our schedule will be posted to comeoutwithpride.com and our social media channels as they become available.
