Shooting at Orlando McDonalds leaves teenage girl grazed

Deputies are searching for the people behind the shooting that left a teenager grazed in the head by a bullet.

It happened outside of a McDonalds on Silver Star Road in Orlando. Deputies say both the McDonalds and a nearby Hardees restaurant closed following the incident.

Witnesses told deputies that a white SUV drove by around 10 P.M. Friday night, just after the nearby Evans High School football game ended. They say someone in the SUV started shooting at a group of people sitting near a gray car in the parking lot. A 17-year-old girl who was not with that group was grazed in the side of the head by a stray bullet.

Deputies found the victim in the McDonalds bathroom. She was taken to Arnold Palmer hospital in stable condition.

Now, investigators are looking for the people from both the white and gray vehicles, which both left before deputies arrived. If caught, the suspected shooter will be charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
