Response to Parkland school shooting hindered by radio overload
PARKLAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - New details about the response to the Parkland school shooting have been revealed.
A new report says that first responders were not able to communicate with each other over radios because the number of transmissions overloaded the system. This, in turn, caused the system to shut down.
17 people were killed during the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School back in February.
