Report: New homeless shelter design nears completion

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Volusia County is one step closer to completing its new homeless shelter. 

The Daytona Beach News Journal says leaders are almost finished with drawing up the building design.

The opening date of the shelter has been pushed back multiple times. Now, officials say the 100-bed shelter should open sometime between Spring and Summer of 2019.
