Dr. Anthony Youn's Potato and Green Tea Eyelid Lift
Potato (thinly sliced)
Cold Green Tea
Brew the Green Tea and let sit overnight in your fridge to get nice and cold
Dip the potato slices in the green tea and allow to soak for several minutes while still in the fridge
Remove potato slices and apply to your eyelids for 10 minutes, then remove.
What Does It Do?
The cold temperature causes constriction of blood vessels to reduce swelling.
The starch in the potatoes acts as an anti-inflammatory to soothe the eyelids but also gradually lightens the skin.
Green Tea is full of both caffeine and anti-oxidants. The caffeine constricts blood vessels and tightens up the skin. The anti-oxidants help to prevent and reverse aging.
Within a few minutes of removing the potato slices, you will notice the skin of your eyelids is tighter, smoother, and the bags are significantly reduced.
Dr. Anthony Youn's All-Natural Age Spot Corrector
Mix 1 tablespoon of milk, honey, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
Apply to your face for 20-30 minutes, then wash off with warm water.
Repeat 2-3 times per week. It will gradually fade sun spots.
How does it work?
The citric acid in lemon juice is a natural skin lightener.
Soy milk is great at correcting age spots. It has enzymes that block the production of melanin in the skin. It's also chock full of Vitamins A and E, which can help strengthen and smooth the skin.
Honey is a natural antibacterial with soothing properties. It helps to moisturize the skin and is an all-purpose skin treatment
Dr. Anthony Youn's All-Natural, At-Home AHA Peel
Mix 2 tablespoons of apple juice (malic acid) with 2 tablespoons of milk (lactic acid) and one egg white.
Use a fork to mix it all up in a bowl until it's nice and thin, then apply the mixture to the skin for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water afterwards.
What Does It Do?
Apple juice contains malic acid and milk contains lactic acid, both of which are alpha-hydroxy acids.
The acids will cause a gentle exfoliation of the skin, causing the skin to feel cleaner, smoother, and tighter. The egg white tightens up the skin and pores. It is composed of albumin, which dries into a tight film. It's like shrink wrap for your face.
