Rare Albino lion cubs rescued and receiving care in Crimea

Two young albino lion cubs are receiving tender loving care at a Yalta Zoo in Crimea.

The pair was born earlier this week at the Taigan Safari Park near Simferopol. But their mother is blind and in poor health so the cubs had to be taken away from her.

Suffering from staff shortages, the park transferred the pair to Yalta Zoo, where they are now receiving proper care.

The cubs appear blonde colored, like rare white lions. But the park director's insists they are albino, born to parents with normal coloring.
