Police arrest Clermont physician after alleged sexual battery of teen

CLERMONT, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Clermont Police Department said that they arrested 48-year-old Matthew Johnson, an Acupuncture Physician at the One Yoga and Fitness on Bowman Street in Clermont, after a claim that he sexually battered a teen during an acupuncture procedure.
Police say that a 16-year-old female victim was being treated by Johnson at his practice on October 30th when, she claims, he sexually battered her during her acupuncture procedure. The victim was been a patient of Johnson's for a few weeks and this was the first time he had violated her.
Johnson was reportedly arrested at his home in Groveland and charged with Sexual Battery. He was turned over to the Lake County Jail.
