No nativity scene at the Florida State Capitol

Visitors at the Florida State Capitol won't be seeing much holiday spirit. This year the nativity scene won't be set up.

The Florida Prayer Network has sponsored the nativity scene the past two years. But now, the group wants to avoid dissension in the Capitol rotunda.

Last year, the Capitol featured some controversial holiday displays, including a protest display from the satanic temple and a "festivus pole" made popular from the sitcom Seinfeld.

The group behind that "festivus pole" plans to put up another one on December 21st. This year's pole will honor the Supreme Courts gay marriage decision.

Another group plans to put a menorah in the Capitol rotunda.
