Governor DeSantis retracts 46 of former Governor Scott's appointments

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Newly sworn-in Governor Ron DeSanatis is retracting 46 of former Governor Rick Scott's appointments.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, he rescinded all 46 appointments made by former Governor Rick Scott in the final days of his administration.

They say that DeSantis did say he will consider reappointing some of Scott's picks. They quoted him saying that "They will be afforded every consideration as my office re-opens the application process to fill these critical appointment vacancies.”

Scott reportedly made 76 appointments in the final five days of his administration.
