Crane topples into roof, causing extensive damage
FRUITVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Sarasota County Fire Department posted on their Facebook that on Saturday, April 7th, a call came in that a crane had toppled into the roof of a building.
The call was from Consulate Healthcare. They say that a boom lift raising roofing supplies topped over into the roof, causing extensive structural and water damage.
However, there were thankfully no injuries and a towing company was able to remove the crane from the roof.
