The leaders said the post "made light" of the killing and was "deeply troubling."

FWC said the comments and actions of the employee are "not in line with the FWC, our values or our mission." The leaders said they have a "zero-tolerance policy towards the promotion of violence and hate" and "will not stand for such behavior."

Upon learning of the social media post, FWC leadership said they fired the employee.

What they're saying:

"We expect all our employees to conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism and always keep the public's trust in mind," FWC said in the post on X on Monday.

What we don't know:

The exact details of the post made on social media and the identity of the employee have not been shared by the FWC.
