Central Florida's Puerto Rican community watches, worries as Hurricane Maria mauls island

It is an awful feeling knowing that a powerful hurricane has your family in its sights and you cannot do anything about it. That's the plight of tens of thousands of Central Floridians who have relatives in Puerto Rico.

As Hurricane Maria bore down on the island, they lost contact then had to wait as they worried. FOX 35's Tom Johnson has some of their stories.
