Carjackers targeting pizza delivery men sought

Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office are searching for the suspects who have been carjacking pizza delivery guys outside homes they don't even own.

Investigators say four suspects robbed and carjacked two different pizza delivery men over the holidays.  Blurry home surveillance images and a composite sketch have been released by the Sheriff's Office.  Deputies say the young suspects abandoned the vehicles in a nearby apartment complex.

The first carjacking happened on December 16 and another one on December 23 --  both occurred in Pine Hills.  Deputies say a victim was told to come to Santa Barbara Road, and when he arrived and got out of the car, the suspects were waiting for him in the driveway.

We talked the delivery man, who did not want to be named.

"I walked up to a house delivering a pizza. The guy asked me to look at the pizza. I got pepper sprayed and kicked in the head four times. Took my keys to my car and took my car."

Deputies say the suspects took off with the car, but they later found it.  The person who owns the home where it happened says she never ordered a pizza.

"I was just totally shocked when I came out. He was like devastated and I was devastated too."

She's making security changes, so this doesn't happen again.

"I have security cameras and getting flood lights."

The pizza delivery man hopes the thugs are caught soon.

"It happened a week before to another driver. He was done at gunpoint, so I'm more worried about getting whoever did this so it won't happen to nobody again."

If you know who this guy is call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
