Lions lose to Toronto 3-1
Orlando City just can’t seem to stop the combo of Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore.
The pair scored all three Toronto goals, on the way to a 3-1 win over Orlando City Wednesday night at Orlando City stadium.
Altidore scored his first goal in the 18th minute, on a beautiful pass from Giovinco. The roles were reversed in the second half, when Altidore got the pass behind the Lions’ defense to Giovinco.
The lone Orlando City goal came from Carlos Rivas, who came off the bench. But moments later, Giovinco added his second tally of the night.
Orlando city now goes on a 2-week break, which head coach Jason Kreis called, much needed.
