Video released in shooting outside Orlando hookah bar

The Orlando Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying suspects in a shooting incident that occurred on Jan.30, outside a lounge.

What started as a bar room brawl, turned into a senseless shooting in the tourist district, they say.

Police officers responded to the Royal Hookah and Cigar Lounge, at 6203 W. Sand Lake Rd. in reference to the shooting that followed a fight which started inside the business and spilled out into the parking lot.

"I told them, 'Turn on the light!' In the megaphone, I said 'People, everybody out!' and after everybody out, I close the door," explained the owner of the Royal Hookah Lounge, Mohammad Aljamos.

He said four to five men started fighting, so he kicked them out and locked the door.

"As soon as they start fighting, I called police. When he left he started fighting outside and he shoot."

In surveillance camera video, you can see the suspects reaching for weapons in the trunk of a white car; one holds an assault rifle and pointed it down the middle of the lot.  Even though it was around 4 a.m., officers said these men put innocent people along Sand Lake Road and Universal Blvd. at risk.

Aljamos said he has never seen the men before, but he is ready to call authorities if they come back.

"If I see any people right away, I'm gonna call police."

One person was injured and at east one vehicle sustained damage.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact OPD or call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
