SpaceX launches Falcon 9 rocket very early on Monday morning

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - SpaceX had a picture-perfect launch at Cape Canaveral very early on Monday morning.

The company launched their Falcon 9 rocket into space just before 1 a.m. on Monday. The rocket is carrying a communications satellite that is expected to deliver direct-to-home TV, broadband, and data relay services to customers across the Asia-Pacific region, Australia, and the Middle East.

This marks the 56th launch of a Falcon 9 rocket.
