Solar eclipse allows for everyone to be a scientist

OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - One of the best parts about the total solar eclipse is that everyone can get involved. 

Scientists are looking for new ways to document the eclipse and they are relying on citizens.

Organizations like NASA and the Academy of Sciences are asking people to record their observations.

Additionally, Google is collecting photos from all over the United States in order to make a Mega Movie.
