One killed, one injured in Volusia Co. stabbing

A fight in Oak Hill Sunday night ended with two people stabbed and a suspect on the run.
Officials say one victim is dead and a second is being treated at the hospital for a severe wound.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says the fight happened at 8:24 p.m.
Investigators say the incident occurred in the street along Beehive Drive.
Witnesses said the suspect was armed with some sort of a small, possibly homemade pocket knife.
Sheriff's investigators are still working to determine what sparked the confrontation.
Officials say after the stabbing, the suspect rode off on a bicycle.
Deputies say one of the stabbing victims died at the scene. The other was taken by ambulance as a trauma alert to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
