Melbourne gives red flag warning
MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) -
The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a red flag warning, which is in effect from Thursday at noon to 8 p.m. that evening.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly.
A combination of low relative humidity, dry vegetation, and warming temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
