Melbourne among list of best places to live in the United States
MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - U.S. News & World's 2019 list of '125 Best Places to Live in the USA' is out.
The Central Florida city with the highest rating on the list is Melbourne, coming in as the 25th best place to live in the United States. They said that Melbourne offers great views of launches from Cape Canaveral, down-to-earth attractions, a mixture of retail and food options, and access to water-centric activities along the Indian River Lagoon.
To make this list, U.S. News & World said that the the city must have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market, and have a high quality of life.
Melbourne is also ranked the 23rd best place to retire in the United States.
Orlando came in as the 63rd best place to live in the United States.
