Florida to experience lowest Thanksgiving gas prices in two year
TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - AAA, the Auto Club Group, says that gas prices has dropped another 7 cents last week, as oil prices hit a new low. Averaging out at $2.50 per gallon, Sunday's average price in Florida is the lowest since January and only 6 cents more than the lowest price this year.
AAA says that Floridians will find the lowest Thanksgiving gas prices in two years. AAA forecasts nearly 2.8 million Floridians wil travel this week for Thanksgiving, with 2.5 of them driving. By that time, the average gas price will be less than last year's holiday, which was $2.47 per gallon.
The most expensive gas in Florida is in Panama City at $2.83 per gallon. They least expensive gas however is in the Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater area at $2.33 per gallon.
