Fire destroys pallet company in DeLand

DELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Officials were on scene of a fire checking on hot spots Saturday, after flames destroyed a DeLand pallet company.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Friday at around 6 p.m. From there, firefighters say the fire spread to some nearby woods.

Officials say, in total, five to seven acres were burned, but the fire is 100 percent contained.
