Friday is a tricky forecast. Will be watching an intense complex of storms rip across the I-10 corridor overnight in the Deep South. Some of this heads to Jacksonville Friday morning. The tail end of it could clip our FOX 51 counties Friday AM with strong-severe storms.

With a forecast high in Orlando of 98°, this will tie the previous record of 98° set way back in 1915! Outside of tonight's storm chances, it will be a dry day under a partly to mostly sunny sky.

Today will be hot and mostly sunny. We're forecasting record highs of 98°F, tying a record set in 1915. A line of storms along I-10 after dark, however, may track southward toward our region and potentially impact our northern-most DMA (Marion County and Flagler County) with some gusty winds around 10 pm.
