Video: Baby bobcat found killing chickens in Utah coop released

A baby bobcat was released back into the wild after it was caught killing chickens in a Utah chicken coop.

According to Officer Josh Carver with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, the bobcat was found in the coup on November 21. It was released, but it returned the next day.

The owner safely trapped the bobcat so it could be relocated. According to Carver, he kept it overnight, fed it turkey, then released it – again – on Pine Valley Mountain, purposefully near roadkill so the bobcat could have something to eat for the time being.

Carver estimated that the bobcat was four to six months.
