In a Facebook post written earlier Sunday, Stacy Halstead said that last night the family thought it was aspiration pneumonia, a disease which Tripp has been diagnosed with before, but now they are not sure what is wrong and are awaiting further tests.

"They tested him for the flu and RSV and those came back negative, so that’s good," Stacy wrote. "But they did see something on the x-Ray."

Tripp was originally checked into Athens Regional Hospital Saturday after suffering what Stacy described as "seizure-like episodes," but, after a while in the emergency room, they moved him to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

"He looks good this morning. Numbers are perfect and that’s all I know," Stacy wrote. "Waiting on the Drs to make their rounds."

His mom updated Friday that they will be cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Tripp had been sent to the hospital earlier this month after he got infected with the Rhinovirus, which is a common cold. In November, he was in the hospital after a scare of him having a low temperature. He stayed in the hospital for two nights before coming home.

This year marked the fifth anniversary of the accident that critically injured the young boy. He was two years old at the time.

His story quickly went viral and his family set up the Facebook page Tripp Halstead Updates to keep all the well-wishers and prayer warriors up-to-date on his progress.
