Police investigating death at Kissimmee hotel

KISSIMMEE, Fla (WOFL FOX 35) - The Kissimmee Police Department says that around 9:01 a.m. on Sunday, they received a phone call from the Howard Johnson Hotel on West Vine Street in regards to a staff member locating a person's body outside the hotel.

Upon arrival, the responding officers say that a woman, identified as 36-year-old Dana Stewart on Monday, was confirmed dead. It is not clear what she was doing at or around the hotel prior to her death, but investigators are working to learn more. 

Police say that this death is suspicious based on the circumstances in which her body was discovered.
