Parkland school shooter denied services by school before shootings
PARKLAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A new report shows the accused Parkland school shooter was denied services by his school ahead of February's mass murders.
The report from the Broward County Public Schools reveals that Nikolas Cruz asked to return to a special education campus in the year before the shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High.
The reports also says that school officials did not follow state protocol or federal laws regarding students with disabilities. Cruz was not given any counseling leading up to the shootings.
