Orlando Weather: Cold front to drop temps this week
A cold front is expected to drop temperatures early next week. Some areas may dip into the 30s, 40s, or low 50s. Until then, it's a roller coaster forecast with high temps, followed by low temperatures. FOX 35 meteorologist T.J. Springer has the details.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Cloudy skies are on the menu for most of Orlando and Central Florida on Thursday afternoon and evening.
Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy. There is a slight chance of a scattered shower or two south of Orlando, though most should be dry and clear.
Friday morning lows will start in the 50s and 60s. The morning low for Orlando is forecast to be 65 degrees.
King Tides continue at the beaches where rip currents and hazardous ocean/surf conditions continue.
Orlando forecast this week
It's looking to be mostly dry this week across the region. Rain chances are low, though a few light showers are possible. Temperatures look to stay in the 80s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Cold temperatures on the way
Starting Sunday, a strong cold front will make its way towards Florida, bringing with it an increase in rain chances and much colder temperatures.
Temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s and 40s across much of the Orlando metro on Monday night into Tuesday morning. Near Ocala, The Villages, and Gainesville, expect windy conditions making the temperatures feel even cooler.
Atlantic hurricane season
No activity is expected over the next seven days, according to the National Hurricane Season. The 2025 Atlantic hurricane season runs through November 30, 2025.
