Man arrested in murder-for-hire plot

Police arrested Robert Fink at a gas station on Saturday in connection with a murder- for-hire plot with disturbing details.

"He called me to come bail him out,” a neighbor of Fink’s told Fox 35.

That neighbor didn't want to show his face, but he told Fox 35 that he's shocked and surprised his neighbor is accused of trying to hire someone for $1,000 to help him kill another man.

"It kind of shakes me up a little bit."

When asked why, he said, "I don't want anybody around here being that drastic."

According to an arrest affidavit, Fink, 47, is facing a solicitation of a capital felony homicide charge.

The affidavit says William Squires called Ocala Police saying Fink tried to hire him to help murder a man named Corey Henley.

Police said Fink wanted revenge against Henley.

In the affidavit, Squires said Fink got $1,000 from the Aryan brotherhood to help kill Henley.

Squires said Fink told him he was going to chop Henley up and put hit body in buckets, so his family wouldn’t be able to recognize his body.

The affidavit said Fink changed his mind and told Squires to lure Henley to the woods so Fink could tie him up and torture him before he killed him.

Text messages were sent including one saying in part, “…It’s time to pay the piper.”

Fink is in jail on $50,000 bond.
