VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A suspect was found hiding on a boat after Volusia County deputies say he beat his girlfriend and tried running her over with her own car.
The girl cut through some bushes to escape.
31-year-old Adam Piling is now sitting in jail without bond.
