Border patrol: Over $1.5M worth of cocaine washed ashore in South Florida
PALM BEACH, Fla. - Border patrol in South Florida made a huge discovery over the weekend.
Agents say a beachgoer in Palm Beach discovered more than $1.5 million worth of cocaine that washed ashore.
Officials said the package contained 65 pounds of cocaine.
The drugs were turned over to authorities to be destroyed, according to border patrol agents.
