Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly provides an update on the investigation into an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing and then possibly kidnapped by a 15-year-old boy and a 60-year-old registered sex offender, Darnell Hairston. The 11-year-old told deputies that he was lured to a campsite, had duct tape placed over his mouth, and was tied with shoelaces and an extension cord for days. When deputies separated the boys from Hairston, the 15-year-old jumped in the truck and drove off, leading deputies on a short pursuit. The 15-year-old ultimately drove off the road and crashed, flipping the truck. He was not seriously hurt and is facing charges.
