FOX 35 Care Force: Winter Park lifeguard Nate Camacho

Today, the FOX 35 Care Force is recognizing Nate Camacho, who is the head lifeguard at the Winter Park Raquet Club. He was the good Samaritan who rushed to help and call 911 when an 80-year-old man drove into the retention pond in front of the club on a cold January morning.

The 66th Winter Park Sidewalk Arts Festival kicks off today in Orlando. The event is one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious outdoor art festivals and draws up to 250,000 visitors each year.

Sarah Grafton, organizer of the Winter Park Fashion Show, discusses the event, which takes place the night of Saturday, March 1. With no active fashion show in the area, Grafton saw an opportunity to re-imagine a Winter Park Fashion Show. With the backing of the Grafton Family Foundation, she enlisted the support of her husband, Jason Siegel, and her sister-in-law, Kyle Grafton, an experienced wedding planner with expertise organization and logistics. Together, they co-founded Winter Park Fashion Week (WPFW) -a fresh, new event with a renewed focus on community impact. The event benefits the breast cancer unit at AdventHealth Winter Park.
