Americans aren't required now to have Real IDs for domestic air travel until May 2023. Previously, the enforcement date was Oct. 1, 2021.

Alaska state Sen. Lora Reinbold drove through part of Canada and took a ferry to reach the state's capital over the weekend after Alaska Airlines suspended her from its flights for her “continued refusal” to follow mask requirements.
